ALLAAHUMMAD - FA 'A'NNIL BALAA - A - oh allah, drive the misfortune away from me.

also these duas - rabbi yassir wa la tu'assir, rabbi tamim bil khair. - oh allah, make it easy, and do not make it difficult, oh allah, make it end well.

One the shortest and most comprehensive ‘dua’ that covers worldly affairs as well as those of ‘here-after’ is;

The peculiarity of this supplication is that, it is the only ‘dua’ recommended  by Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to recite between ‘Rukn e Yamani’ and ‘Hajr Aswad’ (The sacred Black stone) while circumambulation ‘tawaf’ around ‘Hloy Ka’aba’.

It is better that one should supplicate in his/her  own mother tongue so that one may understand what he/she is asking from Allaah swt. All languages belong to Almighty Allaah.
